Board Resolution 3: Elections Committee
RESOLUTION NUMBER 3
A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A LEGAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Open Web Foundation deems it to be in the best interests of the Foundation and consistent with the Foundation's purpose to create an Elections Committee charged with presiding over election of the Foundation's inaugural membership as per Article IV, Section 1 of the corporation's Bylaws;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that an Open Web Foundation Elections Committee, to be known as the "Elections Committee", be and hereby is established pursuant to the Bylaws of the Foundation; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Elections Affairs Committee be and hereby is responsible for establishing and managing membership election practices in the interests of the Foundation; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the persons listed immediately below be and hereby are appointed to serve as the initial members of the Legal Affairs Committee:
Eran Hammer-Lahav (Chair)
Chris Messina
Gabe Wachob
PASSED AND ADOPTED this the 22nd day of April, 2009 by the Board of Directors of the Open Web Foundation.
